The school of hairstyling was founded under the name of Jack's Hairstylist College in 1962 and has been in continuous operation since it's opening. In 1973 the name was changed to RD Hairstyling College, Inc.
In June 2000 RD Hairstyling College, Inc. merged with the former Christie Beauty College, Bismarck.
December 1, 2007 RD Hairstyling College was purchased by JZ TREND ACADEMY INC. and signed fanchise agreement with Paul Mitchell partner school prgram and is currently in transition until new facility is built by projectd date of early 2009.

Jodi Zahn has been in the cosmetology industry since 1982. She is a National Paul Mitchell Educator with travels across the US and Canada. A National Award winner of Hair cut/color/style competitions, including competition in a World event.
Teresa Felch has been in the cosmetology industry since 1989, and is past president of the North Dakota Cosmetology Association, and an Award winner of hairstyling and hair cutting competitions.
Both owners are licensed as a cosmetologists and a cosmetology instructors.
